Luke Bryan has announced the title and cover art for his highly-anticipated next album, which is slated to hit stores in August. The reigning ACM Entertainer of the Year revealed the news through a Twitter promotion on Wednesday (June 26).

The new album is titled 'Crash My Party,' which is also the title of its first single, currently residing at No. 2. Bryan invited his fans to participate in the unveiling on his website by tweeting messages with the #CrashMyParty hashtag. Every time a new tweet included the hashtag, it would remove a tile that was hiding the cover of his new album.

The clever promotion worked, as the hashtag received more than 4,000 tweets in half an hour. By the time the album title was revealed, it was a trending topic nationally, giving a nice boost of extra free publicity for the upcoming project.

“I decided ‘Crash My Party’ was perfect for this album because like the song, the album goes beyond the literal meaning of the title,” Bryan says in a press release. “The song isn’t what you think it is, it is unexpected, and I think in the same way fans will definitely hear some surprises on my new album. It still reflects my sound but you will get to hear a little bit deeper, different side to me musically as well.”

'Crash My Party' is slated for release on Aug. 13 via Capitol Records.
