The release of Luke Bryan's new album, Kill the Lights, is fast approaching, but the singer is still in the process of selecting the final tracks. Despite the work left to be done on the project, Bryan says that he's "really excited for fans to hear it."

"I'm loving where I'm at with this album," he tells ET Online. "It's got new sounds, stuff that I haven't done, but it's also got some really, really country stuff on it, too, that kind of solidifies what I'm about and what I love. So I feel like I covered all my bases."

The "Kick the Dust Up" singer has been tight-lipped when talking about what fans can expect on the record, but he does say that there will be at least one special guest appearance.

"There is a collaboration on it," he teases. "It's a big one."

Kill the Lights is set for release on Aug. 7, giving fans less than two months until they hear the new tunes. So far, Bryan says that their reaction to "Kick the Dust Up" has been great.

“We’ve been performing the new song on tour this spring, using it to open the shows,” he says. “We love the crowd reaction to it, and I cannot wait to be able to share more new music this summer. It’s been two years since we’ve had a new album, and I don’t think I’ve been this eager yet to get it out to the fans.”

“Kick the Dust Up” is available now on iTunes and Amazon.
