Luke Bryan has released a lyric video for his newest single, "Kick the Dust Up."

The tune is Bryan's first single from his upcoming Kill the Lights album, and the new clip mirrors the song's lyrics: Panning shots of corn fields and barns and close-up shots of trucks and a girl in cowboy boots and a dress appear as Bryan sings “We go way out where there ain’t nobody / We turn this cornfield into a party / Pedal to the floor board / Eight up in a four-door / Burnin’ up a back road song / Park it and we pile out / Baby, watch your step now / Better have your boots on / Kick the dust up.”

Bryan revealed "Kick the Dust Up" in mid-May -- although he had been playing it at shows before its official release -- on the same day that he revealed his plans for the new record.

“We’ve been performing the new song on tour this spring, using it to open the shows,” Bryan shares. “We love the crowd reaction to it, and I cannot wait to be able to share more new music this summer. It’s been two years since we’ve had a new album, and I don’t think I’ve been this eager yet to get it out to the fans.”

"Kick the Dust Up" is one of 13 songs on Kill the Lights, six tracks co-written by Bryan and a duet with Little Big Town‘s Karen Fairchild among them.

“I’m loving where I’m at with this album,” Bryan says. “It’s got new sounds, stuff that I haven’t done, but it’s also got some really, really country stuff on it, too, that kind of solidifies what I’m about and what I love. So I feel like I covered all my bases.”

Bryan is currently out on his 2015 Kick the Dust Up Tour, which runs through the end of October. He’s also announced Farm Tour dates in late September and early October.
