Luke Bryan already knew he would be seen on TV during the CMA Awards next week, thanks to his nomination for Best New Artist and securing a coveted slot as a performer, but now the Georgia native will spend even more time in front of the cameras. Luke has been tapped to be the Nashville red carpet correspondent for 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show.'

The married father of two made his first appearance on Ellen's chat fest back in September, performing his No. 1 hit, 'Country Girl (Shake It for Me),' and also flexing his comedic muscles, playing the role of 'Pierre' in Ellen's ongoing, humorous soap opera drama, 'As the Tide Turns.' (Watch the hilarious clip below.)

The singer-songwriter, who is currently in the middle of his first headlining tour, believes that all his recent exposure is happening at just the right time. "I can feel the momentum," he tells The Boot. "It has been an interesting process, and I'm so glad it didn't happen three or four years ago because I wouldn't have enjoyed it. I would be freaking out!"

The 35-year-old singer will play in Illinois tonight (November 3), followed by a series of shows in Minnesota, before he returns to Nashville for the CMA Awards.

The 45th Annual CMA Awards air live from Nashville, Nov. 9 at 8:00 PM ET on ABC.
