There's nothing Luke Bryan loves more than performing before thousands of fans, but their safety always come first. With that in mind, Bryan made the difficult decision to cancel his show Friday night (July 26) show in Albuquerque, N.M., due to dangerous storms in the area.

A few minutes later, he added the following tweet.

National Weather Service, the storm was one of the worst in Albuquerque's history, producing both intense rain and severe wind.

Thankfully, fans won't have to wait too long to see Bryan's show. The Georgia native has rescheduled the concert for Sept. 22. All original tickets will be honored at the new date.

Bryan will continue his Dirt Road Diaries tour on Friday (Aug. 2),  in George, Wash., with Thompson Square and Florida Georgia Line serving as his opening acts. See all of his upcoming shows here.
