The fans never stopped cheering during Luke Bryan's set at the 2015 CMT Music Awards. He brought his new single, "Kick the Dust Up," to the stage, and the massive audience more than approved.

Bryan knows how to work a stage: He knelt down, high-fived fans and gave that mega-watt smile that country fans have grown to love, all while performing the energetic song.

"Kick the Dust Up" is from Bryan's forthcoming album, Kill the Lights, due out Aug. 7. It's a big song that deserves a big performance, and with his baseball cap on and a mic in his hand, Bryan knocked his vocals out of the park. The tune is just a good old country party song: "We go way out where there ain’t nobody / We turn this cornfield into a party / Pedal to the floor board / Eight up in a four-door / Burnin’ up a back road song / Park it and we pile out / Baby, watch your step now / Better have your boots on / Kick the dust up.”

Fans who have seen Bryan on tour were able to hear the song before it dropped on radio.

"We’ve been performing the new song on tour this spring, using it to open the shows,” Bryan shared at the time of the song's release. “We love the crowd reaction to it, and I cannot wait to be able to share more new music this summer. It’s been two years since we’ve had a new album, and I don’t think I’ve been this eager yet to get it out to the fans.”

Bryan is currently on his 2015 Kick the Dust Up Tour, which runs through the end of October.
