Lucy Hale to Release ‘You Sound Good to Me’ as Debut Single

Lucy Hale's upcoming debut country album has been highly anticipated by fans, and this week she threw them a bone with the announcement that her first single will be 'You Sound Good to Me.'

The 'Pretty Little Liars' actress took to Twitter to comment on the announcement, saying, “Very special day for me !! My single ‘You Sound Good to Me’ is out January 7!!”

The 24-year-old singer also revealed the cover art for the single.

Hale's fans have responded on Twitter with their excitement for the upcoming release.

The new single was written by Ashley Gorley, Luke Laird and Hillary Lindsey and is set to hit country radio in 2014. Fans will be able to download the track beginning Jan. 7. A release date for the album has not been announced.

“Music is my heart, and I’m so blessed to say that this album turned out to be something I’m very proud of,” Hale says. “I’m unbelievably excited to hit the road this fall to meet country radio and share what I’ve been working on, and feel extremely lucky to work alongside DMG Nashville, Hollywood Records, Bigger Picture Group and the awesome [producer] Mark Bright.”
