Loretta Lynn is about to receive yet another accolade. The 83-year-old will be getting a spot on the Music City Walk of Fame, along with collaborator Jack White, in a special ceremony on June 4.

“I can’t think of a better way to celebrate the reopening of Walk of Fame Park than with the induction of Loretta Lynn and Jack White -- two very diverse artists,” Mayor Karl Dean says in a statement. “They represent what is best about Nashville with music that spans multiple genres and generations.”

Adds Ken Levitan, chairman of the Nashville Convention and Visitors Corp., “Individually, Loretta Lynn and Jack White have each made an enormous impact on Nashville’s music scene. Collectively, the impact of their collaborations has been felt exponentially and worldwide. The Walk of Fame showcases our diverse history and illustrates to fans from all over the world why we are Music City.”

Lynn's 2004 Van Lear Rose album was produced by the former White Stripes frontman. Lynn and White earned two Grammys for their collaboration, for Best Country Album and Best Country Collaboration With Vocals, the latter for "Portland Oregon."

The singer is already the recipient of several similar major honors: She is a member of the Grand Ole Opry, the Country Music Hall of Fame and the Country Gospel Music Hall of Fame, and was named one of both VH1's 100 Greatest Women of Rock and Roll and CMT's 40 Greatest Women of Country Music. Earlier this year, she was the recipient of the 2015 Tennessee Governor's Arts Award, and later this year, Lynn will be inducted into the Austin City Limits Hall of Fame.

And Lynn isn't planning on slowing down any time soon. The "Coal Miner's Daughter" singer recently signed a multi-album deal that will allow her to release several records of new material, recorded over the last several years.

Both Lynn and White will be at the induction ceremony and ribbon-cutting at the newly renovated Music City Walk of Fame Park, which will be held on June 4 at 1PM.
