Country Now, the first original country music channel on YouTube, has announced the winter lineup for a new program, 'Hear & Now: Live From Blackbird Studio.' The series showcases artists performing their songs, along with a short explanation of the tune.

The show, which began on Jan. 28, has already featured performances by Casey James, Love and Theft, Joe Nichols, Parmalee and Dakota Bradley. Stokes Nielson, member of the Lost Trailers, produces the series.

"I had a blast hanging with Stokes and the crew," James says. "Blackbird is an amazing atmosphere for performing and creating music and I hope to have the opportunity to do the show again!"

The new program was created to allow fans from all over the world to feel closer to their favorite artists.

“’Hear & Now: Live From Blackbird’ was designed to give country artists the opportunity to go into an intimate studio setting and just play and engage with their fans,” Dominic Sandifer, president of Country Now/Greenlight Media & Marketing, LLC, explains. “The fact that we are able to broadcast this show on the first country music dedicated YouTube channel, from an historic location that stands at the epicenter of country music creation, is truly special for the genre.”

Blackbird Studio is owned by John and Martina McBride.

Frankie Ballard, Craig Campbell, Will Hoge and the Eli Young Band are all scheduled to appear on the series. See their upcoming air dates below, and watch previously-recorded songs here.
