Lee Brice will appear on the popular game show, 'The Price Is Right,' next week as part of the festivities leading up to the Academy of Country Music Awards. The singer, who garnered three ACM nominations, may have changed the name of the game show to 'The Brice is Right.'

"I slipped that little birdy in Drew's ear before the show, and he said he got it in the show," Lee explains in an ACM YouTube video, referring to 'Price' host, Drew Carey.

Most people have grown up watching the game show, and Lee is no exception. "When they first asked me to do it, I said, 'First of all, are you kidding me? This is a show I grew up as a kid watching.' Then I thought maybe I was going to be a contestant, but this was actually cooler -- being the person on the stage, backstage, running around. It was awesome."

Lee was a bit nervous backstage before heading out to present a few tongue-twister lines on the show, which included talking about a slew of Academy of Country Music Awards-nominated CDs, but according to the clip, he looked like a pro on that familiar stage. Lee's appearance on 'The Price is Right' airs Thursday, March 31 on CBS [check local listings for times].

Having less than a week to go before heading into the ACM Awards on April 3, Lee, who is up for Song and Single of the Year for 'Love Like Crazy,' is looking forward to attending his first ACMs as a nominated artist. "Things have already started to change just from being nominated," he says. "It's such an amazing thing, and I can't wait to be out there. It's going to be a blast."

Before heading to Las Vegas for the ACM Awards, Lee is scheduled to perform a few shows, including one tonight (March 25) in Abilene, Texas, as part of his Higher Education tour with pal Jerrod Niemann. For a full list of Lee's tour dates, click here.
