With "I Drive Your Truck," Lee Brice shares an emotional tale of how one often deals with the loss of a close friend or a loved one. Although grief can be unbearable, sometimes it's made easier by putting yourself in a familiar situation from the past and conjuring the best possible memories.

In the case of a young man -- lost while in service to his country -- and the friend (and fellow soldier) he leaves behind, reminders are plentiful inside the cab of the truck that's at the fragile heart of the ballad: from a dirty baseball cap to a set of dog tags hanging from the rearview mirror.

Lee, whose brother Lewis plays the lead charatcetr in the clip, acknowledged that the song's story was one that affected him immedialtely, telling The Boot and other reporters at a media event earlier this year, "The first time I heard it, it really broke me down. I had to listen to it over and over again. When I went into the studio, I remembered how [the demo] made me feel, so when I was singing it, I wanted to make sure I didn't screw that up ... that I made that feeling come across with my recording of it the same as the demo."

"I Drive Your Truck" is the third single from Lee Brice's sophomore album, Hard 2 Love, and the follow-up to "A Woman Like You" and Hard to Love."
