On the very same day she got off the hook for one fender bender, LeAnn Rimes was involved in another.

On Wednesday (Sept. 16), the singer was told that she will not face any criminal charges in her alleged hit-and-run incident that occurred last month in Brentwood, Calif. TMZ reports that the singer was not aware that she clipped another car, but was cooperative with the LAPD and handed over her insurance information when they arrived at her L.A. home after the accident. Police have now officially closed the case after deciding that no crime was committed.

But a stroke of bad luck came with the good news LeAnn received Wednesday, as she was involved in another fender-bender. Radar Online reports that she rear ended a Mercedes E350 with her Audi Q5 on her way home from a shopping spree at Fred Segal in Santa Monica, Calif. LeAnn called police to the scene, but no reports were taken. (See photos from the accident scene here.)

Later that same afternoon, LeAnn called for a police escort from her car to her home in L.A., because people were not letting her pull out of her driveway. Splash News reports that LeAnn waited in her car for nearly an hour for police, who kept photographers at bay while she loaded her vehicle and drove away with a police escort.
