It looks like 'American Idol' Season 10 runner-up Lauren Alaina has followed in the footsteps of some other fellow former Idol's, like Weight Watchers spokeswoman Jennifer Hudson and super svelte mentor Carrie Underwood. Lauren has dropped a whopping 25 pounds off her frame in just five months!

"Changing my diet was the big thing," the 5-foot-7 Georgia native tells Us Weekly. "I had to learn correct portion control." Lauren has divulged her diet secrets, admitting that she initially used the meal delivery service Sunfare to transition into a high-protein, low-carbohydrate diet.

Now, the singer, whose 'Wildflower' album debuted at No. 2, has adapted the pre-planned meal service's formula to her lifestyle. "I eat an egg-white omelet for breakfast, shrimp and veggies for lunch and chicken with asparagus for dinner." No pain, no gain ... or loss, that is!

As for her fitness regime, Lauren does a daily workout of crunches, push-ups and "lots of squats," which have helped the singer slim down to a size-2. But she's not done dropping the pounds just yet. "I'm 10 pounds from my goal -- almost there! I wear size small and extra-small now!" Alaina exclaimed.
