Laura Bell Bundy has just signed a new record deal. The 'Giddy On Up' singer has signed with Nashville's Big Machine Label Group, and she is releasing a new single, 'Two Step,' with Colt Ford this month.

The 32-year-old actress and singer first made waves on Broadway, starring in such productions as 'Hairspray' and 'Legally Blonde: The Musical,' for which she earned a Tony nomination. She released an independent country music album in 2007, and in 2010 she signed to Mercury Nashville and released 'Achin' and Shakin'.'

Big Machine President Scott Borchetta says Bundy is poised to lead the emerging country dance movement. “Laura Bell is a fireball of energy and attitude with all the right moves,” he states (quote via All Access).

"I can only be grateful in this moment ... for the many relationships, lessons and experiences I've had on Music Row that have led me here and finding a true partner in Big Machine and Scott Borchetta," Bundy adds.

Bundy debuted the video for 'Two Step' via CMT on July 4. She is currently out on the road as part of the Dance Y'all Experience on Rascal Flatts' Live & Loud tour. Get her live dates here.
