Lady Antebellum recently had a rare -- and uncomfortable -- experience on stage, when they were booed by concertgoers. The reason for the audience's displeasure, however, had nothing to do with their performance. Rather, the females in the crowd were expressing their disappointment that Charles Kelley was officially off the market, after marrying longtime girlfriend, publicist Cassie McConnell.

"Years ago, we were like, 'How weird is it gonna be when we have families and we're out on the road?'" Charles tells GAC. "And this is the first step towards that. It's gonna be so interesting to see five, 10 years from now when we're still doing this, hopefully, and we have kids out there [on the road]. It's gonna be wild to see. What happens when [Hillary Scott] gets pregnant? It's a family out there, and everybody is just super-supportive. And it's the first step towards growing up -- here we go!"

Charles and Cassie have a new addition to their extended family -- as well as new titles of aunt and uncle. Charles' brother Josh and wife Katherine Heigl (Grey's Anatomy) adopted a baby girl from South Korea last week.

While Lady A are wrapping up the Sun City Carnival Tour with Kenny Chesney, they're also on the road with Keith Urban on his Escape Together World Tour. The Grammy-nominated trio will make a brief stop at home in November for the CMA Awards, where they're in the running for both Single of the Year and Group of the Year.
