Lady Antebellum are getting ready for takeoff on their Wheels Up 2015 Tour, and they say that they're hoping to use the European dates at the beginning of the trek to test out some of the new material from their current album, '747.'

“It’s going to be just a lot of high energy. You know, we are going to be road testing a lot of these album cuts off of ‘747’ and seeing what the fans think of them," Hillary Scott says. "While we’re in Europe and Australia, a lot of them really get so deep into these albums, they know a lot of these songs, and so that’ll be fun."

Before heading back for the U.S. portion of the tour, Lady A will hit Oslo, Norway; Stockholm, Sweden; Glasgow, Scotland; Dublin, Ireland; London, England; Ipswich, Australia; Sydney, Australia; and Melbourne, Australia, which adds up to a lot of long flights. In addition to spending their on-plane time watching movies and TV shows, the trio plans to use those flights to do a little songwriting.

“Sometimes I write lyrics on long flights. Dave [Haywood] is always sending ideas, you know, to Hillary and I and saying, ‘Hey man, see if something kind of inspired you,’" Charles Kelley says. "So, a couple times on a plane, I've actually been in the restroom singing the melody into my phone, and one time I did that, and I walked out, and the guy had obviously heard me, and he goes, ‘Nice jam, bro.’ I was like, ‘Oh, my gosh!’ I was singing it too loud, but it’s always fun."

The U.S. leg of the Wheels Up 2015 Tour kicks off on May 1 in Lubbock, Texas, and includes a "bucket list" stop at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena on Sept. 11.

“It’s truly a bucket list show,” Haywood says. “It’s such a big stage, massive. We’ve never even opened up for anybody at Bridgestone. We love this town and wanted to make it a priority.”

Sam Hunt and Hunter Hayes will be joining the trio on tour. See a list of all the cities on the tour here.
