Lady Antebellum's Hillary Scott, Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood are busy with their globe-trotting Own the Night tour, and the trio admit they still have a few glitches to work out occasionally during their show. The Grammy-winning threesome recently made a stop in San Jose, Calif., where their grand entrance didn't go quite as well as they had planned.

Lady A typically start the show by appearing in the middle of the stage on a rising platform. Unfortunately, at last weekend's concert, the platform stalled halfway to the stage, leaving the three bandmates stuck until they decided to take matters in their own hands.

"The hell with this!" Charles yelled before they awkwardly hoisted themselves on stage (quote via Country Weekly). Thankfully, the rest of the show went off without a hitch, with its surprising start providing plenty of comedic fodder throughout the night.

"I think that was the most professional entrance I've ever seen," Charles quipped. But perhaps the prize for most triumphant entrance belongs to Hillary.

"I have to note that I crawled out of that hole wearing leather pants," she added.

In spite of the occasional technical difficulties, the band members are thrilled with their Own the Night shows. "This is the tour we've always dreamed of putting together," Charles maintains. "We got to help design the stage and really collaborate on new production ideas, and now we're trying to hone in on the perfect set list to give the fans a cool mix of hits and some of their favorite songs from the new record. Plus, we've been working on some really intimate moments for our show, where we can really break things down and be close to the crowd."

The Own the Night tour, which also includes Thompson Square and Darius Rucker, has upcoming shows in Ohio, Missouri and Oklahoma. See their full concert schedule here. Lady A also have a very special gig coming up in London, where they are set to open for Bruce Springsteen on July 14.

Lady Antebellum will head to Las Vegas this weekend for the ACM Awards, where they are nominated for four trophies, including Top Vocal Group of the Year, and will also perform during the ceremony.

The 47th annual Academy of Country Music Awards will air live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena, April 1 at 8:00 PM ET on CBS.
