"We did not expect this!" Lady Antebellum's Charles Kelley said upon accepting the Grammy award for Country Album of the Year.

And with stiff competition, it's safe to say none of the nominees expected to win. The trio's 'Own the Night' album beat out chart-topping projects by Jason Aldean, Eric Church, Blake Shelton, George Strait and Taylor Swift.

The Grammys have certainly been good to Lady A, as Charles and bandmates Hillary Scott and Dave Haywood were five-time winners last year, including the all-genre Song and Record of the Year honors for their crossover smash, 'Need You Now.'

"Thanks for changing our lives last year on this night," said Charles.
