Lady Antebellum to Join Georgia Music Hall of Fame

Lady Antebellum will be inducted into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame on Oct. 11.

The trio will be honored at Atlanta's Georgia World Congress Center along with other 2014 inductees Danny Beard, Jeff Foxworthy, Francine Reed, Ed Roland from Collective Soul, Wet Willie and others

“We’ve never been a part of something like this before,” the band's Dave Haywood, a Georgia native, says. “It’s pretty special hearing the words 'Lady Antebellum' and 'hall of fame' in the same sentence. We really feel honored to be included.”

The band recently released 'Bartender,' the lead single off of their upcoming fifth album, '747.' The album is set for release on Sept. 30.

“We are so ready to get this music out,” says Charles Kelley. “To get the reaction we’ve gotten from ‘Bartender’ has only made us more fired up about the rest of these songs!”
