Lady Antebellum turns up the sass with their hot new single, "Downtown" and takes viewers of their Wednesday Webisode series behind the scenes in the studio while recording the tune. But before your first look at the group (Hillary Scott, Dave Haywood and Charles Kelley), the clip offers up a surprise Lady A fan: Cameron from the hit ABC sitcom "Modern Family," a/k/a actor Eric Stonestreet. "@ericstonestreet is a huge Lady A'er," the trio tweeted Wednesday (Jan. 30). (Watch the video below.)

The single is off to an impressive start -- and while its success may ultimately be up to country (and pop) radio and the fans, Hillary recently revealed that their chance to record "Downtown" actually came courtesy of another superstar entertainer: Miranda Lambert. It seems Mrs. Blake Shelton had the song on hold, but graciously gave it up for Lady A.

Penned by Natalie Hemby, Luke Laird and Barry Dean (the trio responsible for Little Big Town's "Pontoon"), the tune caught the group off-guard when they first heard it.

"When it was pitched to us, we thought, 'Whoa, we would have never done that,'" Dave Haywood tells Billboard. "We wanted people to have the same reaction to it."

"Downtown" will be available at digital outlets on Feb. 5. It's the lead-off single from Lady A's highly-anticipated fourth studio album, set for release later this year.
