Fans hoping to see Lady Antebellum on Saturday night (April 12) in Birmingham, Ala. were in for a big disappointment. The trio were forced to cancel their show, scheduled to be held at Oak Mountain Amphitheatre, due to severe weather that resulted in damage in the venue.

Live Nation also released a statement about the cancellation.

"Due to heavy rainfall and flooding this past weekend, Oak Mountain Amphitheatre has incurred damages that will prevent the venue from opening on April 12th for Lady Antebellum," they said. "The event has been rescheduled to Saturday, May 3rd. Tickets for the originally scheduled performance on Saturday, April 12th will be honored on the new date."

The heavy downpour spread over much of the South, resulting in dozens needing to be rescued, and one fatality in Mississippi.

Lady A will have a couple weeks off the road, before they resume their Take Me Downtown Tour on April 25 in Raleigh, N.C. See a list of all of their upcoming shows here.
