Lady Antebellum has already achieved several career milestones, including winning four Grammy awards, selling out arenas and scoring a record-breaking hit with "Need You Now." But the trio, comprised of Charles Kelley, Dave Haywood and Hillary Scott is about ready to cross another big item off their collective bucket list -- the chance to open a show for rock icon Bruce Springsteen.

"I've seen him several times, Charles notes of the superstar. "Every time he comes to Nashville, I see him, and he's one of my biggest influences. We actually covered, 'I'm on Fire,' I think, a couple of years ago on our tour, for every show, about 50 shows in a row. I don't think we'll pull out that cover that night but it's a huge honor. He's a big influence [and] one of the best songwriters of all time."

Lady A will open for Bruce at London's 2012 Hard Rock Calling Music Festival on July 14. But before they head overseas, they'll take the stage for their Rebuilding Henryville Charity Ball. Funds raised via ticket sales for the event will aid Henryville, Ind., in the wake of the tornadoes that ravaged the town on March 2.

"We're just so excited to be able to be playing for the community there in Henryville, and our thoughts go out to them," Charles maintains.

"It'll be really cool to see hopefully a lot of smiling faces," adds Hillary. "Anything we can do to try to help them forget -- for even just for a few minutes -- all of the things that they've been through over the past few weeks and just give them joy and put smiles on their faces. That'll be absolutely the coolest feeling in the world."

Prior to the Charity Ball, the threesome will perform a special show exclusively for the juniors and seniors of Henryville High School. The students won the Own the Night prom contest, which secured the band a performance at their prom. Unfortunately, scheduling conflicts prohibited the group from attending the event, so they promised a show solely for the high school students instead.

Lady A are on the second leg of their Own the Night tour, which includes a stop in New York City this week, followed by shows in Massachusetts, Pennsylvania and several concerts in Canada. See their tour schedule here.
