Lady Antebellum have taken a step out of their normal wheelhouse to partner with EDM artist Audien on "Something Better," a bass-heavy tune that's a far cry from the music that Lady A fans know, and they recently released a lyric video to go along with their collaboration.

"It took us out of our comfort zone," Lady A member Charles Kelley tells Rolling Stone Country. “We’re learning as a band not to be so scared of things. We’ll always stay true to the country genre, but that doesn’t mean we can’t have a little fun.”

In the newly released lyric video, the focus is on astronauts as they explore space, with the lyrics of the song playing out in the stars. The video also features a computer screen looking out onto planets, with the lyrics displayed as a warning message. The video's psychedelic space graphics play into the lyrics of the song and the idea wanting to find that special someone, even if they are in a different galaxy.

Pairing up with EDM DJs isn't something new for country artists. Dan Tyminski joined Avicii for his song "Hey Brother," and the Band Perry are working with Diplo for their next album.

Hunter Hayes and Sam Hunt are currently opening for Lady A on their tour. The group's last scheduled show is on Oct. 3; after that, they will be laying low for a while.

“We’re going to step away for a little while,” Kelley says. “As a band, we’ve talked about wanting to get off the hamster wheel for a little bit and let the fans miss us for a second. We want to spend some time to write a record like we did for our first record. But it’s always been go, go, go, so we’ll try to get re-inspired a little bit.”
