Lady Antebellum have stayed away from the spotlight for several months, while band member Hillary Scott adjusts to her role as a brand-new mother to baby girl, Eisele Kaye, but that's about to change.

The trio announced they will take the stage during the upcoming CMA Awards, where they will perform their new single, 'Compass.'

"[Eisele] is the first person I thought of when we heard this song," Scott explains to E! News. "It's wanting her to feel like she can always come home and have a safe place at home. I'll just be envisioning her the whole time."

The songstress says life for her and her husband, drummer Chris Tyrell, has improved drastically since the birth of their daughter in July.

"It's just forever better," Scott gushes. "Life is forever different, but forever better. She has the sweetest personality, she likes to coo and she likes to sing -- we'll sing to her and she'll just sing along with us. She's just awesome, the greatest thing in the world."

'Compass' is included on the deluxe edition of the trio's latest album, 'Golden,' which is slated for release on Nov. 12. The group are nominated for two CMA Awards -- for Vocal Group of the Year, and Music Video of the Year for 'Downtown.'

The 47th annual CMA Awards will air live on ABC at 8PM ET on Nov. 6.
