Kristian Bush is uniting with actress and singer Rita Wilson for a worthwhile cause. The two celebrities will perform a concert at the Troubadour in West Hollywood, Calif., on Aug. 27, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting ACM Lifting Lives.

"So excited to share the stage w[ith] the incredible @RitaWilson at @theTroubadour in LA [on] 8/27!" Bush tweeted when announcing the show.

The Tennessee native will perform songs from his 2015 debut solo album, Southern Gravity, including the project's debut single, "Trailer Hitch," as well as his current single, "Light Me Up."

""Light Me Up" is one that I have wanted to write for a while now — but I knew it would have to be from a man’s voice, so I waited,” Bush says. “I am excited to finally have the chance now that I am making a solo album. It’s the chance to say to women everywhere that there really is nothing in the world like the feeling of being loved by you. No feeling even close.”

Wilson released her debut album, AM/FM, in 2012 and is planning to release a new set of tunes next year. She previously shared the stage with Bush, along with his Sugarland partner, Jennifer Nettles, for a free show in Indianapolis, Ind., to honor those who lost their lives in the tragic stage collapse in 2011 at the Indiana State Fair.

ACM Lifting Lives is the philanthropic arm of the Academy of Country Music, dedicated to improving lives through the power of music. Tickets for the Bush and Wilson show are on sale now at www.troubadour.com.
