Kristian Bush is hitting the road. The singer, who is best known as one-half of the award-winning duo, Sugarland, has announced plans to play several solo shows in the new year.

Bush will kick off 2014 by performing at the 30A Songwriters Festival in Northwest Florida, Jan. 17 - 19. The Tennessee native will join an all-star line-up for the event, including John Oates, Shawn Mullins, Jeffrey Steele, Jim Lauderdale, Kyle Jacobs and Marshall Chapman.

The 'Love or Money' singer will follow up his appearance in the Sunshine State with shows in North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia. See a list of his upcoming shows below.

Bush is enjoying working on his own music, while his Sugarland partner, Jennifer Nettles, will tour promoting her own solo album, 'That Girl,' which she is set to release in January. But while the two are spending time apart right now, the singer-songwriter insists their break is just temporary.

“I’m just in a different place in life than she is,” he tells Radio.com, adding that he has spent the time writing several songs each day and honing his craft. “You can either look at [the break] as a good thing or a bad thing. I look at it as a good thing. Can you imagine what we will do after we gather all this knowledge? It’s going to be insane!”

Bush will also perform his annual Thanksgiving show later this month in Decatur, Ga. He will return to Eddie's Attic on Sunday, Dec. 1, where he will be joined by Chris Young and Brett James. That show is already sold out.

Tickets for all of Bush's 2014 shows are available here.
