Kris Kristofferson and Willie Nelson both appear in the new film 'Angels Sing,' as well as on the film's soundtrack.

The soundtrack will feature holiday songs from Nelson, Harry Connick Jr. and Kristofferson that are in the film, with Kristofferson playing 'Pretty Paper,' a tune that was originally performed by Nelson.

The film is based on the book 'When Angels Sing' and centers around Connick's character, Michael Walker, who wished that every day was Christmas when he was young, but lost his holiday spirit after a tragic accident.

The film also stars 'Nashville' star Connie Britton as Walker's wife, with Kristofferson and Fionnula Flanagan playing his parents. Nelson joins the cast as the mysterious Nick, who helps Walker make his way back to the joy of Christmas.

The soundtrack is available for pre-order and releases Dec. 17 on iTunes.
