Kip Moore has just released a video for his new single, 'Young Love,' and in this exclusive clip, he takes readers of The Boot behind the scenes of the video shoot.

The video depicts a star-crossed romance between a young version of Moore and a girl whose father deems him "riff raff." Peter Zavadil directed the clip, and the footage above shows the singer on location at a corner market where part of the action takes place, as well as being photographed in front of the red muscle car that is central to the storyline.

"The song is definitely an 'us-against-the-world' kind of song that I feel like so many couples go through," Moore notes. "I know that I had parents that weren't accepting of me dating their daughter."

'Young Love' is the advance single from Moore's as-yet-untitled sophomore album. That project will help the singer build on the momentum of his debut effort, 'Up All Night,' which catapulted him to stardom by scoring three Top 10 hits, including the No. 1 single, 'Somethin' 'Bout a Truck.'

That success has led Moore to be a semi-finalist for the 2014 ACM New Artist of the Year award. Fans can click here to vote through 3PM ET on Feb. 4.
