Kip Moore's Wild Ones album is officially out now, but he spent the couple weeks leading up to its release sharing the new tunes with his fans.

Press play above to hear "Heart's Desire." The uptempo song, with lines like, "Chest feeling heavy like a cannonball / Got sweat rolling down me like a waterfall / 'Cause I let love slip through my fingertips / I'm a raging fire / You're my heart's desire," was written by Moore, along with Dan Couch, Adam Browder and Erich Wigdahl.

Moore co-wrote all of the songs on the new record, all of which he says were written while on the road.

“I can get stuck in really dark places, and the road can play these tricks on your mind that you’re losing so much of your life — I think that you sense some of that on this record,” Moore acknowledges. “And then you’ll sense the whole other side, of this joy. The first record was such a nostalgic record, and this is a much more present record.”

In addition to the online song previews, Moore has been giving fans a sneak peek of the tunes from Wild Ones during his concerts.

“My favorite part of this crazy life we have is playing live,” Moore says. “We’ve been playing so many of these new songs in the live show because we road-tested them night after night before recording what became the final album. They were a huge part in helping me formulate what Wild Ones became."

The 35-year-old will have plenty of opportunities to perform all the songs from Wild Ones when he kicks off his 2015 Wild Ones Tour on Oct. 8 in Bethlehem, Pa.

"I’m excited to get back out there and headline and put a show together that is all about [the fans]," Moore adds.

All of Moore's Wild Ones song previews are available to listen to on his YouTube page. The album is available on iTunes and Amazon.
