The release of Kip Moore's upcoming second album has been delayed.

The album was originally set for release next month, but fans will now have to wait until this summer to hear all the new tracks.

"I'm never done. It could still shift," he told Country Vibe on the red carpet of the ACM Awards. "We now know exactly when the record's comin' out and there still is time to change it up. So I've still been writing a lot of stuff that I'm starting to really, really like, so it might change again. I just have to keep reminding myself that as long as I've lived with these songs, other people still haven't heard them yet, so we'll see."

Fans won't have to wait for the new album to hear a new song from Moore. The ACM New Artist of the Year nominee will be releasing his new single, 'Dirt Road,' within the next couple of weeks.

"It's going to throw people for a loop because the title is misleading about how the song's gonna sound, what it's gonna be talking about," he says. "It's a very intense song I can't wait for people to hear. It's been a big underground thing with our fans for a long time."
