Believe it or not, the Band Perry's Kimberly Perry still gets nervous when she's on stage in front of her peers. At the band's recent performance at the 2014 CMA Awards, Perry got a little help from fellow superstar Faith Hill.

Perry says she is used to performing high-octane hits on stage, but when she hit the stage with brothers Neil and Reid to perform at the awards show, they were slowing things down with their version of Glen Campbell's 'Gentle On My Mind.' The slower tempo added to Perry's nerves and she ended up staring at Hill the entire performance.

"You know, I always have to pick out an artist in the first few rows to sort of interact with," she says. "And that song, because so many of our awards show performances have been fast-paced and they come and go so quickly, but 'Gentle On My Mind' is a slower-paced song and we really had a moment to, like, take in the first few rows. And Faith is always so gracious, I always interact with her."

Her brothers joke that Perry's staring may have caused security at the show to give her a talking to.

"Is that why her security came up?" she says with a laugh adding, "It was a special moment, though."

So, does Hill know that she helped Perry get through the performance?

"We haven't talked about it or anything but, I mean, I'm sure she knew," Perry says.
