Kid Rock Confirmed for Tootsie’s Birthday Bash

Nashville's historic Tootsie's Orchid Lounge is turning 51! To celebrate the momentous occasion, Kid Rock will participate in a birthday bash, in conjunction with the rocker's Nov. 23 performance at the legendary Ryman Auditorium.

"Every time I end up at Tootsie's its a good night, and I don't expect this night to be any different," Kid Rock says of his exploits at the downtown hotspot. "It's cool to be celebrating their birthday party with them; I like parties and seem to excel in that type of atmosphere."

Often referred to as the "green room" to many of the Opry's most iconic entertainers of the '50s and '60s, Tootsie's will begin the festivities at noon, with live entertainment on both of the venue's stages, as well as from Rippy's rooftop stage. Additional performance spaces are expected to be announced soon.

"We couldn't be happier that Kid Rock is working with us to make the Tootsie's Birthday Bash a rockin' good time for everyone in Nashville," comments Tootsie's owner Steve Smith. "Kid Rock is a part of Tootsie's history. It's going to be a memorable night."
