Kid Rock has a warning for anyone who tries to break into his home: Don't do it, or there could be fatal consequences. The singer, whose real name is Robert Ritchie, took matters into his own hands after an attempted robbery on his Michigan estate on July 31.

"Thank God I was not on the property at the time of this attempted break in," he wrote on his website. "I am an avid hunter and marksman and I will not hesitate to shoot anyone who has myself or family in fear for our lives. I take the invasion of my personal space very seriously regardless of who you are and YES, I do profile people."

Kid Rock shared a picture of the van the alleged thief used, taken by surveillance cameras around his home, as well as pictures of the man walking towards his house on crutches after breaking down a metal gate by ramming it with his van. He offered a $5,000 reward for information leading to his arrest.

Fortunately, the man was not able to gain entry into the home, despite multiple attempts. Thanks to the detailed description of the would-be burglar, he was arrested on Aug. 3, with the the help of two tipsters, and will be arraigned on Monday (Aug. 5).
