Kevin Sharp Suffers Severely Broken Leg

Kevin Sharp recently found himself back in the hospital, but this time it was for a leg injury.

Prior to his June 12 performance in Riverton, Wy. for the Relay for Life cancer benefit, Kevin suffered a broken leg at his hotel. The break was so severe that after a brief stay at a local hospital, Life Flight was used to transport the singer to a hospital in Denver for immediate surgery.

Kevin's surgery was successful, and he is now resting comfortably at home. The singer sends his thanks to everyone for their prayers and concern and says he'll be back to performing again as soon as physically possible.

Kevin topped the country singles chart in 1996 with 'Nobody Knows,' and he followed with two Top 5 hits, 'If You Love Somebody' and 'She's Sure Taking It Well.' Aside from his music, Kevin is best known for his courageous battle with cancer, which he wrote about in his book, 'Tragedy's Gift.'
