Kenny Rogers Reveals Bout With Skin Cancer

Kenny Rogers is urging his fans to be vigilant about checking their skin for cancer, and his words come from personal experience. The singer took to social media to reveal his own recent bout with cancer on his face.

The 75-year-old doesn't seem to be letting cancer slow him down. His latest album, 'You Can't Make Old Friends,' was released last year and landed in the Top 10. An exhibit honoring his legendary career, ‘Kenny Rogers: Through the Years,' will open at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum on Aug. 14, and remain open until June 14, 2015.

Rogers is continuing his Through the Years World Tour later this month with shows in Ohio and West Virginia. See a list of his upcoming concerts here.
