Kenny Chesney's new music video for 'Wild Child' was filmed in the paradise-like location of Hawaii, and it is one that will inspire viewers to celebrate life.

The video, directed by Shaun Silva, focuses on Chesney's good friend, songwriter Gretchen Rhodes, who lives in Hawaii and whose zest for life is undeniable. Rhodes is the essence of a "wild child": a free spirit who soaks up every moment, beautiful from the inside out and possessing an obvious serenity that comes from loving life from the deepest part of yourself.

“Shaun really captured everything that makes Robin -- and every woman just like her,” Chesney says in a press release. “No matter what kind of music you love, this woman is someone everyone should celebrate."

Chesney believes that 'Wild Child' is a truly special song, and just a few seconds into the music video, viewers realize it is. Much of the footage focuses on Rhodes simply living life: She surfs, hikes, rides horseback, stands on top of mountains, gets drenched in a waterfall and basks in being alive. It is apparent that she is completely engaged with life -- and that's the vibe Chesney was going after.

“It is a song about any woman so hungry to engage life, she spends her days trying to taste it all," he says. "You don’t have to be a gypsy to be a free spirit, but just someone so in love with life, you will never get enough. To see a woman like that is a pretty amazing thing."

The end of the video is a sweet surprise and really wraps up the theme of 'Wild Child,' turning the attention from Rhodes to someone else -- someone she has big dreams for.

Chesney is joined by Grace Potter on the track; she was also his duet partner on 2011's 'You and Tequila.'
