Kenny Chesney Adds Second Show at Gillette Stadium to 2016 Spread the Love Tour

Due to popular demand, Kenny Chesney has added a second date at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass., to his 2016 Spread the Love Tour.

Tickets for the singer's Aug. 26 show at the Boston-area stadium have not yet gone on sale to the general public, but due to a strong pre-sale response, Chesney made the decision to add another concert, on Aug. 27.

“You never want to just assume people are as into you are you are to them ... But once we went up on sale, we realized this year could be even bigger than last year ...,” Chesney says in a press release. “... We’ve sold out 13 shows over eight years [at Gillette Stadium] ... So, I don’t know why I ever hesitated. Here’s to two rocking nights with some of my dearest friends in one of my favorite places in the world."

Pre-sale for the Aug. 27 date will begin on Nov. 17 at 10AM ET. Tickets for both Gillette Stadium shows will go on sale to the general public on Nov. 20 at 10AM ET.

“Gillette Stadium holds so many special memories ...," Chesney continues. "Places like that really stand out, really give a reason to keep going during the summer -- because as good as it is, you know there is something even better ahead.”

The 2016 Spread the Love Tour will also feature Miranda Lambert, Sam Hunt and Old Dominion. The trek is set to kick off on April 23 at the Jordan-Hare Stadium in Auburn, Ala., as part of the inaugural Music & Miracles Superfest.

A complete list of the country superstar’s currently announced dates is below, with more to be announced in the coming months. Chesney is also set to headline one night of the 2016 Taste of Country Music Festival, which will take place in June in Hunter, N.Y.
