Three of country music's rising stars took center stage during Thursday night's (Dec. 3) CMA Country Christmas TV special: Kelsea Ballerini performed a sweet rendition of a Christmas classic, while Mickey Guyton sang a Frozen favorite, and Dan + Shay harmonized on a seasonal hymn.

Wearing a stunning red lace dress -- perfect for the holiday event -- Ballerini sang "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas." The up-and-coming singer showed off her vocal chops while standing at a microphone at the front of a darkened stage, her voice soaring throughout the tune.

"This is my favorite classic Christmas song," Ballerini told CMA Country Christmas host Jennifer Nettles before beginning her performance. "I remember listening to it when I was super-little."

Fans who enjoyed Guyton's performance of "Do You Want to Build a Snowman?" from Frozen will be happy to know that the singer has released her version of the tune as a single for the holidays. Her sparkling white dress, blue eyeshadow and Elsa-esque braid gave Guyton the perfect look for the wintry performance.

Dressed in simple suits, Dan + Shay harmonized on "O Come, All Ye Faithful" as images of camels and shepherds crossing the desert -- presumably to visit baby Jesus -- flashed on the screen behind them. Their version of the hymn received a big round of applause, and cameras even showed one audience member wiping away tears.

The 2015 CMA Country Christmas special featured a total of 20 performances packed into the two-hour event.
