Rising stars Kelsea Ballerini and Maddie & Tae recently paid tribute to one of their musical influences in a jaw-dropping performance.

The three women, who shared the stage during Ballerini's CMT Next Women of Country Tour stop in Nashville, performed the Dixie Chicks' 1998 hit "There's Your Trouble," proving that they all have staying power in country music. Ballerini and Maddie Marlow swapped lead vocals, while Marlow and Tae Dye played guitar and mandolin and provided harmonies.

Ballerini is currently crossing the country on the CMT Next Women of Country Tour, which she is co-headlining with Jana Kramer.

“My first summer in Nashville, I was 15 and didn’t have a driver’s license yet, so I spent it at home, writing songs and watching music videos on CMT. That was a way I knew I could learn and feel like I was growing," Ballerini says. "[F]or me to be a part of the CMT Next Women of Country Tour is a huge honor.”

Ballerini's debut album, The First Time, will be released on May 19 on Black River Entertainment. Maddie & Tae's debut record, Start Here, will be released on June 2 through the Big Machine Label Group's Dot Records.

Both Ballerini and Maddie & Tae will perform during the upcoming CMA Music Festival, which will be held June 11-14 in Nashville. Find a complete schedule at CMAWorld.com.
