Kelly Clarkson has been forced to cancel six of her remaining Piece By Piece Tour dates, after doctors cautioned the powerhouse vocalist to take care of her voice.

"So bummed that I have to cancel some of my tour dates. This kills me, but doctors are saying I need to rest my voice!" Clarkson writes on Facebook. "I can’t wait to get healthy and see y’all back on the road soon."

The remaining cities affected by Clarkson's cancellations are Tampa, Fla.; West Palm Beach, Fla.; Raleigh, N.C.; and Camden, N.J. Two weekend shows in Vienna, Va., were also canceled.

"I hate canceling, and I am truly sorry to my fans that have been excited to see this show," she continues. "Please know that I never cancel anything unless it’s absolutely necessary."

While Clarkson doesn't like canceling concerts, the break might be a welcome one for the singer, who surprised audience members at her late August show at Los Angeles' Staples Center by announcing her second pregnancy.

“I was totally not planning on announcing this, but … I’m totally pregnant,” Clarkson shared during her set, after breaking down in tears during the song "Piece By Piece." "I’m having a really hard time ... I hate this song right now. My makeup artist is backstage hating me right now. I just don’t want you to think I’m on pills or drunk.”

Clarkson will pick up her tour again on Oct. 1 in Kanata, Ontario, Canada. An updated concert schedule can be found on her website.
