Only a couple weeks after Kelly Clarkson announced that she was canceling six shows on her Piece By Piece Tour due to doctor's orders to rest her voice, the singer has now canceled the remainder of her tour.

"Regretfully, due to instruction of her doctor, Kelly Clarkson must remain on vocal rest for the remainder of the year, resulting in the cancellation of her scheduled tour dates in Canada and the UK," a statement reads on her website. "All tickets will be refunded at the original point of purchase."

Clarkson herself adds, "I am truly sorry that I have to cancel the remainder of my tour dates. I was so looking forward to sharing this tour with all my amazing fans in Canada and the UK. Unfortunately, my doctor is telling me I have to stay on vocal rest, but I am working hard to get better as fast as possible."

Clarkson's Piece By Piece Tour was supposed to wrap up in late November, after the Canadian and UK shows. However, the unexpected break will allow Clarkson and her husband, Brandon Blackstock, a bit of extra time to get ready to welcome their second child.

“I was totally not planning on announcing this, but … I’m totally pregnant,” Clarkson revealed during a concert at Los Angeles’ Staples Center in mid-August, after breaking down during a song. ”I’m having a really hard time ... My makeup artist is backstage hating me right now. I just don’t want you to think I’m on pills or drunk.”

There is no word yet on if Clarkson will continue with her planned Musicians on Call Tour with Martina McBride. More information will be posted on Clarkson's website.
