Kelly Clarkson Reveals the Sex of Her Baby

Kelly Clarkson has revealed the sex of her first child.

The pop superstar and budding country singer took to social media to break the news directly to her fans, just two months after confirming her pregnancy the same way.

"We just found out we're having a girl officially!" she tweeted on Monday (Jan. 20). "I knew it! Only a girl could cause this much drama with all this vomiting ha!"

“I’m totally gonna have a girl. I’m manifesting it!” Clarkson said in late November, adding, “And when I have a girl, you’re gonna be like, ‘That chick knew it!’”

Clarkson and her husband, Nashville talent manager Brandon Blackstock, wed in Tennessee on Oct. 20. Blackstock is Reba McEntire‘s stepson, and manages Blake Shelton.

Clarkson is already a stepmother to Blackstock’s two children. This will be their first child together.
