Kellie Pickler is an avid animal lover, and she is lending her talents once again to help her furry friends. The singer has partnered with Meow Mix cat food to present 'It's Meow Time,' to celebrate cat owners' special mealtime connection with their felines.

As part of the Meow Time campaign, a mobile sound booth will be set up at Columbus Circle in New York City on Aug. 13, giving fans the chance to record their own version of the Meow Mix jingle solo, or with Pickler's help.

For every fan who records their own jingle, Meow Mix will donate 100 cat food meals to the Food Bank for New York City, with a goal of 100,000 meal donations. Each donation will be distributed to help families in need feed the house cats of New York City.

"Being a cat lover and previous cat parent myself, I am really looking forward to my turn of remixing the iconic Meow Mix jingle in the sound booth," Pickler says. "And I hope we have a lot of other cat lovers and parents join us in this campaign because the more recordings, the more meals Meow Mix will donate to the Food Bank for New York City."

"Today, nearly one in three New Yorkers struggles to afford food. That certainly means there is nothing left over to feed beloved pets, often forcing families to abandon them,"  Margarette Purvis, President and CEO of Food Bank for New York City, adds. "We are very grateful to Meow Mix for their camaraderie and generosity so that we may provide an added layer of support to New Yorkers in need and keep these families together."

Pickler is currently crossing the country on her the Woman I Am Tour, which heads to New York, Canada and Michigan later this month.  She will also perform with Amy Grant for a private event, 'Eat. Drink. Party Pink' in September. See a list of all of her upcoming shows here.
