Kellie Pickler will co-host ABC's hit morning talk show 'The View' on Tuesday, June 18. The country singer will talk about her own hot topics alongside show regulars Barbara Walters, Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sherri Shepherd and Elisabeth Hasselbeck, and she'll also perform a new song.

Pickler is no stranger to television. She first came to public attention by placing sixth on the fifth season of 'American Idol,' and she recently wowed audiences by turning in one standout performance after another to win this season of 'Dancing With the Stars.'

The entertainer has just released a new single, 'Someone Somewhere Tonight,' which she'll perform for the first time on television on Tuesday. It's the first taste of an album she'll release later this year, which marks her recording debut under the auspices of her new deal with Black River Entertainment. Pickler parted ways with Sony last June after disagreements with the label over her third album, the critically acclaimed '100 Proof.'

Pickler previewed several selections from her upcoming album at the Country Radio Seminar in Nashvillle in March, revealing a more confident, mature direction for the new project. Rolling Stone recently gave her new single a positive review, writing, "With 'Someone Somewhere Tonight,' her winning streak continues...her big, open-throated singing sells the emotion of every last word."
