Kellie Pickler continues to reach for the stars. After claiming the mirror ball trophy on Season 16 of 'Dancing With the Stars,' the songstress has her eyes on another lofty goal.

“Since the show I've been wanting to do Broadway so bad just to throw together two of my passions -- dance and music,” she reveals to Country Weekly. “I want them to do like a Tammy Wynette Broadway musical! I know Dolly Parton has her Broadway shows and I think if anybody lived a country song, it’s Tammy.”

Whether or not Pickler's dream comes true, she says her 'DWTS' dancing partner, pro Derek Hough, already has another role in mind for her. “[He] was like, ‘You need to be Roxie in 'Chicago,'’” she recalls. “That would be amazing! I’ve watched that movie a million times. I know it by heart.”

The North Carolina native who just returned from her seventh USO tour, is also busy promoting her latest album, 'The Women I Am,' which she says is the most honest record she has ever released.

“I’ve made records where I’m trying to make everybody else happy and say what other people want me to say. That was miserable,” Pickler says. “If you go in and you’re honest, people will either like you or not. You can’t please them all, so you might as well be happy with it yourself. It’s your face on the cover. You can’t change who you are to please other people.”

Pickler's upcoming schedule includes shows in Virginia, New York, Ohio and Nevada. See a list of all of her concerts here.
