Keith Urban, Nicole Kidman Welcome Baby Girl
Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman are the proud parents of a baby girl. The Oscar-winning actress gave birth Monday morning to Sunday Rose Kidman Urban, who weighed in at 6 lbs, 7 ounces. Urban was at his wife's side at the delivery at a Nashville hospital, and all three are said to be happy and healthy.
"Earlier this morning, Nic gave birth to our beautiful baby girl, Sunday Rose Kidman Urban," Urban posted on his website. "We want to thank everybody that has kept us in their thoughts and prayers. We feel very blessed and grateful that we can share this joy with all of you today."
Sunday Rose joins older half-siblings Isabella and Connor, Kidman's two children from her marriage to Tom Cruise. This is the first biological child for both Kidman and Urban, who celebrated their two-year wedding anniversary last month.
Urban hinted to his fans on Saturday that the baby was due any day now. At his concert with Kenny Chesney in Nashville, the country superstar dedicated 'You're My Better Half' to his wife, joking that she was "very very very very very very very pregnant." Kidman was reportedly backstage watching her husband's performance, which ended just about 36 hours before the baby's arrival.
