Keith Urban is bringing a little country flair to one of Canada's biggest New Year's Eve parties. The singer has been announced as the headliner for an annual, televised, free concert at Queen Victoria Park in Niagara Falls, Ontario.

The Aussie will be joined by Nick Jonas, electronic pop artist Lights and singer Shawn Mendes. The event, which is Canada's biggest televised New Year's Eve show, kicks off at 10 PM and will be hosted by ET Canada's Cheryl Hickey, Rick Campanelli and Sangita Patella.

"It's a marquee event, and New Year's Eve is one of the nights of highest demand for performers," Niagara Falls mayor Jim Diodati says (quote via the Niagara Falls Review).

ET Canada's executive producer, Jodie Davis, says the lineup for this year's show has "raised the bar one more level."

“We try to top ourselves each year," he adds. "Having Keith and Nick and Shawn and Lights does that."

Urban's already got big plans for 2015. The 'Somewhere in My Car' singer will return to judge Season 14 of 'American Idol,' reuniting once again with Jennifer Lopez and Harry Connick, Jr.

“I wanted to do ‘Idol’ because I love the opportunity to not only help somebody, but when you see somebody come in with raw talent, and you know that with just a little bit of shaping and guidance, they can totally blossom over the course of the whole series,” he explains of his participation on the reality TV talent show. “That’s the exciting stuff.”

Season 14 of 'American Idol' kicks off on Jan. 7 at 8 PM ET on Fox.
