Little Big Town, Dierks Bentley and Keith Urban will join forces for a very special performance during the Sept. 9 Stand Up to Cancer TV broadcast event.

Billboard reports that the three country acts will perform a cover of David Bowie's "Heroes," which is being taped for the Stand Up to Cancer special at Tuesday night's (Aug. 30) 2016 ACM Honors ceremony. Bowie passed away in January, following a previously undisclosed battle with cancer.

The Stand Up to Cancer event will air live from Los Angeles on Sept. 9 at 8PM ET; a number of networks are joining forces for the event. Fans are encouraged to use the #Reasons2StandUp hashtag before and during the show to share personal experiences with cancer and how they stand up to the disease. Select user content will be featured during the broadcast.

In addition to Urban, Bentley and LBT, the star-studded biennial show will also feature Ben Affleck, Matthew McConaughey, Emma Stone, Anna Kendrick and Stand Up to Cancer co-founder Katie Couric; Celine Dion will also perform a special tribute after losing her husband, René Angélil, to throat cancer in January. The event is being produced by Academy Award-nominated actor Bradley Cooper.

Urban's performance for Stand Up to Cancer comes less than a year after his father, Robert, passed away from cancer in December of 2015. Little Big Town's Jimi Westbrook lost his sister, Joyce Morgan, to cancer in December as well.

The 2016 ACM Honors ceremony will take place at Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium, and the show will be produced for television by Dick Clark Productions and broadcast on CBS on Sept. 9 at 9PM ET, following the Stand Up to Cancer broadcast.
