Fans at Keith Urban's Light the Fuse tour stop in Indianapolis didn't know they would get a special version of John Mellencamp's 'Authority Song.'

Urban may have fumbled over a few lyrics, but he made up for it by inviting Mellencamp's former guitarist, local Indianapolis legend Larry Crane, onstage to join him for the song. The duo's jams starting at 2:40 and 4:45 are well worth a watch.

'Authority Song' was one of three hit singles from Mellencamp's 1983 album 'Uh-Huh,' which also contained 'Crumblin' Down' and 'Pink Houses.' Crane was one of the mainstays of Mellencamp's band during the peak of the singer-songwriter's success. He departed after 1989's 'Big Daddy' album, and since then he has worked with a number of top musicians, including John Prine, Bonnie Raitt, Steve Earle and John Fogerty.

Urban's Light the Fuse Tour will continue all the way through the end of the year, and wrap up with a second leg in 2014. Get the dates here.
