Keith Urban has set a new record, and it has nothing to do with his album sales.

The singer recently beat his previous record of guitar sales at HSN by selling 22,000 of his limited edition Light the Fuse and Phoenix URBAN guitar packages in eight hours. The number beats out his earlier record of 20,000 at his previous appearance on the network in November, when he debuted the Phoenix acoustic guitar, which sold for $199.95.

Urban's latest Light the Fuse collection for HSN includes two versions of his Light the Fuse guitar, either in all-wood electric or acoustic electric, both available in five different colors (Brazilian, Ebony, Brazilian Blonde, Cherry Red and Teal Burst), a 15-watt amplifier, a carrying case, signature guitar picks, an extra set of strings and a double-lesson DVD with one-on-one instruction from the tunesmith.

“I developed a passion for the guitar when I was six, and over the years it’s only grown stronger,” Urban explains of his reason for partnering with HSN. “I feel so blessed that in this life, I get to be a guitar player.”

"Keith's ability to inspire people through music and encourage them to find their own song is simply amazing," Joy Mangano, President of Ingenious Designs, an affiliate of HSN says (quote via Yahoo! Finance). "I am thrilled to congratulate Keith on yet another tremendous appearance on HSN and am excited to work with him on the next phase of this incredible musical journey."

The package is on sale right now for $289.95, instead of the standard price of $389.95. Urban's original Phoenix guitar package, which includes a guitar, case, chord chart poster, guitar strings and adjustable guitar strap, is available for $299.95.

Both the Light the Fuse and the Phoenix guitar package are available exclusively at HSN. Purchase either guitar package here.
